The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has lunched an electronic spot platform for Agricultural commodities on December 11,2020.It has been named as BSE’s Agricultural market limited (BEAM).

o   The platform has been lunched through the subsidiary “BSE Investments Limited”.

o   BSE witnessed a trading of two tons of imported almond. The total worth value of this treading was more than ? 6 lakh on the lunched day of BEAM.

o   The platform facilitates the spot agricultural commodities transactions across the value chain.

o   The value chain comprise of intermediaries, consumers, producers and ancillary services.
